Not that we ever really had a rock-n-roll lifestyle. But I had to laugh about how the day of our 14th wedding anniversary started:
Richard was up at 3:30 am. Couldn't sleep because we splurged on pizza last night and the salt did him in.
I was awake at 5 am, rolled out of bed at 5:15.
We separately, on different floors of our house, drank our coffee and had a small breakfast, got dressed. We sat together for 2 minutes at our dining room table and opened each other's anniversary cards. Shared smiles and happy thoughts.
Then we kissed and each headed out to our respective gyms to get our butts kicked, before heading to work.
Yup. Married life 14 years in.
And yet I don't want anything or anyone else. I'll double-down on this bet.
Happy anniversary Love!
