New year, freshly unemployed. Yikes! I am so not good at this. Must be busy, must have things to do, otherwise go stir crazy.
So far this week I've cleaned out all our old files, and in the process stumbled on a Christmas present hidden in the closet! It's from Richard's parents: placemats with lovely cat illustrations. Apparently they'd brought them on their last visit from England, stashed them and forgot to tell us. Gotta say, it's so fun to receive unexpected gifts at unexpected times.
Meanwhile, the job hunt continues and I've managed to stay fairly optimistic. Haven't lost any sleep yet ... though check back a few weeks from now.
