A nearly perfect December day:
It snowed!
I watched football all day long.
Our pretty Christmas lights were on all day!
Caught some of The Cutting Edge (although it was on the Family Channel and they cut the word "ass" when she says she wants to kick some ass, as in she wants to compete and win. Because kids still up at 10pm might be offended by that!)
And now Ice Castles is on! Now, this is what teen movies used to be about -- a heart-throb guy, a sparky girl, some drama, some tears, some joy and a fabulously sappy theme tune. I'm songza'ing it now!
too bad today has a sad historical footnote.
