good show

I read all the media hype surrounding Skins, which is on its third series in England and is just now being premiered on BBC America. I've been DVRing it and have finally got round to watch an episode. I'm only four minutes in and already this show has given me a new Cockney rhyming slang to use as I shout at idiot car drivers: You're a James Blunt

Plus, it stars Nicholas Hoult, who I adored in "About a Boy", and who has grown up very nicely!

However, I'm mighty ticked off that BBC America has added subtitles to this show. And it's not for "teen slang" -- it's for common British speaking terms, like "nip round the corner." What a load of bollocks.
